The Dental Office construction materials included pre-manufactured trusses, cold-formed steel stud walls, and steel supporting members. Architectural features such as canopies with tie rod tie backs, shallow cantilever entryways, and parapet height wing walls were a challenge and were completed with the use of a combination of steel and wood frames.

The project consisted of new construction with steel plated timber trusses and timber entry framing, interior pre-manufactured wood trusses, wood framed walls, and conventional foundation system. The interior trusses were specified to support the installation of a vaulted ceiling at the entry. Main wind force resisting system(s) utilized in this structure include the use of wood framed shear walls.
