ABOUT

From the Ground Up

When we opened our doors in 2014, there was no big funding and no inherited client list. It was just a small group of engineers who believed there was a better way to do this work.

We’d each seen projects stall, budgets explode, and designs get stripped down until they barely resembled the original vision. Not because the ideas were bad, but because the engineering team wasn’t at the table soon enough, or wasn’t nimble enough to adapt.

We knew we could change that.

A Different Kind of Firm

From the start, Luchini Trujillo Structural Engineers was built around two promises:

1. Always show up for the design team

From the first sketch to the last site visit.

2. Stay sharp

With the tool training, and mindset to solve problems before they ever become problems.

That approach means we can tackle complex, high-design projects without bogging them down in red tape or overengineering. We make it work technically, practically, and beautifully.

Small Team. Big Impact.

Small Team. Big Impact.

We’re not the biggest firm in New Mexico, and that’s the point. Five licensed engineers (all with master’s degrees) and four top-tier techs give us the agility to respond fast, pivot when needed, and give every project the attention it deserves.

It’s why architects, developers, and contractors call us back, and why we’ve delivered over 1,800 projects in just over a decade.

Though our offices reside in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, our reach extends across eight states to give clients the benefit of local insight backed by a wide range of regional experience.

Looking Ahead

Looking Ahead

Right now, our industry is shifting. Competitors are getting bought out. Some are winding down. We’re just hitting our stride.

We’ve got the fire to take on bigger commercial projects, the experience to keep them moving, and the state-of-the-art tools to deliver them on point. While other firms slow down or disappear in the middle of a project, we’re known for being responsive from the first call to the final inspection.

Because in the end, great engineering isn’t about steel or concrete. It’s about trust, and that’s something we’ve been building from day one.
