LTSE currently has multiple opportunities for Structural Drafters. Ideal candidates will have a strong degree of initiative, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a dedication to accuracy in their work. This position works closely with all members of the team to complete various projects.

This role is being posted as temporary with the anticipation that it may become permanent in the future.  All positions will be filled in Santa Fe, NM.

The potential for virtual (telecommuting) work is available but on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with engineers using AutoCAD & Revit to develop structural drawings from preliminary concepts and sketches.

• Create full construction documents for commercial and residential projects.

• Actively working on improving drafting skills and increasing knowledge of structural design.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Drafting and Design or equivalent educational background from a recognized technical institute or university.

This is a potential year-round, paid, opportunity that could lead to full-time employment upon graduation. Work directly with a mentor in your field of study while you finish your BSCE or MSCE. Schedule flexibility allows for part-time employment during the semester and full-time in the summer breaks.

• Minimum college junior standing in an ABET accredited Civil Engineering program with an intent to complete a Bachelor’s degree (BSCE) and/or Master’s Degree (MSCE).
