The Experienced Engineer Is Building On 4+ Of Success With The Company
[April 2023] – Luchini Trujillo Structural Engineers is pleased to congratulate team member Jeremy Starr on officially receiving his engineering license, providing its clients with yet another qualified structural engineer to oversee the creation and development of projects of all scales. Jeremy first joined Luchini Trujillo Structural Engineers in 2019 as an engineer-in-training, allowing him to gain hands-on experience in every aspect of the engineering process. By becoming a professionally licensed engineer, Jeremy will be able to leverage this insight and deliver reliable results for current and new clients to the firm.
Jeremy Starr graduated from the University of New Mexico with an M.S. in Civil Engineering, emphasis in Structural Engineering. Soon after, in 2019, he began working as a structural engineer for Luchini Trujillo Structural Engineers, where he specializes in using advanced technology to create construction documents for new construction, renovations, and retrofit projects. Jeremy is currently professionally affiliated with the Structural Engineers Association of New Mexico and the American Council of Engineering Companies.
On average, obtaining a professional license in structural engineering requires at least four years of rigorous training. Additionally, to provide safety for local communities, the testing requirements for such licensing are held to the highest of professional standards, with many hopeful engineers failing to meet such requirements. Luchini Trujillo Structural Engineers is proud to see a valued team member like Jeremy Starr rise to the occasion to meet these lofty expectations and is thrilled to see how this accomplishment will enable Jeremy to support his clients with even more depth than before.
Jeremy Starr plans to use his newly obtained license as a professional structural engineer to support clients of every scale across the New Mexico area and looks forward to creating a safe environment that allows communities to thrive.
